The Counterdrug Taskforce supports local, state and federal law enforcement agencies for the purpose of drug interdiction, and to support community based organizations, including educational institutions.
Soldier-trained spiritual leaders, serving God and Country, provide guidance for Delaware National Guard Soldiers/Airmen and their familes.
The DEERS/RAPIDS Office issues new, or, updates existing Common Access Cards (CAC) and dependent ID cards. The CAC is an identification card with a tiny personal database embedded in it that can be used for access to buildings, networks, and email. CAC's are issued to all Active Duty/Reserve/Guard/DOD Civilians/DOD Contractors. To receive a Department of Defense identification card or a CAC, all personnel must bring two forms of approved ID, one of which must bear a photo. A current or expired ID card/CAC is considered a valid form of ID. All beneficiaries are reminded that their personal information must be current in the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS).
The Education Office provides the Members of the Delaware National Guard a comprehensive resource for their civilian education benefits through administering Federal Tuition Assistance, State Tuition Assistance, education counseling, testing and facilitating the GI Bill program.
The Environmental Office coordinates the implementation and execution of the Delaware Army National Guard's Environmental Management System (EMS). The office provides technical guidance, training and ensures compliance with EPA, DNREC and other Environmental Regulations.
The Office of the Staff Judge Advocate provides legal assistance to Delaware's National Guard soldiers/airmen and women, their qualified dependents and retirees in accordance with applicable Army and Air Force legal assistance regulations, Federal and State laws.
When activated, the JFHQ-DE JOC establishes and maintains communications with MACOM's, and other affected military organizations as well as designated local, state, and federal agencies; coordinates and facilitates the application of resources (personnel and equipment) to support State or Federal Activation; maintains unit readiness information; support the preparation of operations orders and plans; or supports disaster relief operations as directed.
The mission of the Occupational Health & Medical Office is to provide education and information regarding workplace safety as well as dealing with other health related issues.
The State Safety Office provides safety support of all DEARNG maintenance facilities, office buildings, and storage buildings. The DNG Safety Office also ensures compliance with all regulatory guidance (i.e. OSHA, DA, DOD, NGB).
